The becco Thru-axle M12 x 1.75 / 209-229 replaces the original thru-axle of your bike and at the same time provides an integrated connection for the becco coupler system. Thru-axle and adapter are combined in one robust component, which means fewer components, easier installation and the highest reliability.

Material at the highest level

The becco thru-axle is made from a 7075-T6 aluminium alloy, one of the strongest aluminium alloys there is. This material is also used in aircraft construction and offers an exceptional combination of lightness and strength. The alloy is considerably more resilient than standard aluminium alloys and at the same time corrosion-free, perfect for the high demands of trailer operation.

The extra-thick hard-anodised coating additionally protects the surface against corrosion and wear. This elaborate surface treatment hardens the outer layer and makes it resistant to scratches and weathering. The result: a thru-axle that still looks and works like new even after years of intensive use.

Use

The thru-axle is simply fitted in place of your original axle and the becco towing part can be connected right away.
The integrated connection for the becco towing part is precisely manufactured and optimally matched to the becco coupler system. The becco towing part (included with your Qeridoo trailer or available separately) is simply placed onto the head of the thru-axle and fixed in place. Together with the becco tow bar of your trailer, this creates a secure, comfortable connection that offers all the advantages of the innovative becco system:

Flexible length adjustment through the spacer system

The becco thru-axle is supplied with various spacers that allow an exact adjustment to your bike.

Included are:

• 2x flat spacer (2 mm) – for fine adjustment
• 2x flat spacer (10 mm) – for larger length adjustments

By combining these spacers you can set the effective length to 209, 217 or 229 mm and thus adjust it optimally to your bike model. The spacers ensure that the axle has the optimal installation length and that the wheel is installed securely and without play.

For which bikes is this thru-axle suitable?

The becco Thru-axle M12 x 1.75 / 209-229 fits all bikes with a 12 mm thru-axle and Maxle Standard (1.75 mm thread pitch) in the installation lengths 209, 217 and 229 mm.

Difference between thru-axle and thru-axle coupler

• Thru-axle (this product): replacement for your original thru-axle with an integrated adapter for the becco towing part. A functional coupler additionally requires the becco towing part.
• Thru-axle coupler: complete set consisting of thru-axle and becco towing part.

Important!

• Before purchasing, measure the length of your original thru-axle and check the thread pitch. The becco thru-axle is available in various lengths and thread pitches in order to cover almost all common 12 mm standards.
• Only the combination of thru-axle and becco towing part forms a functional coupler on the bike.
• Not suitable for bikes with carbon dropouts or a carbon rear frame (risk of breakage!).
