Safety and warning instructions
WARNING!
- The safety and accident prevention regulations applicable in your region, as well as legal requirements such as road traffic regulations, must also be observed and take precedence in case of doubt. Also inform yourself about country-specific regulations and traffic rules if you want to take the Qeridoo with you when traveling abroad. Make sure that the Qeridoo is only used by people who are suitable to operate it as defined below. Users must have fully read and understood this user manual.
- Packaging materials and protective caps must be removed and disposed of according to the environmental guidelines applicable in your region.
- The recommended tightening torques can be found at the following link: qeridoo.de/go/drehmomente
- All information on "Care & Maintenance" must be observed. Corrosion cannot be completely ruled out. De-icing salts can cause stress corrosion cracking.
- Never leave the child unattended. Do not let the child play with the product. The Qeridoo is not a children's toy and must not be misused as such. Accordingly, it is not permitted to attach the Qeridoo to a children's bike.
- Keep children away from the Qeridoo during assembly. When handling moving components, make sure you do not pinch your hands or fingers. Before first use, check all screw and split-pin connections for a secure fit. Make sure the child is out of reach when unfolding and folding the Qeridoo to avoid injuries.
- This seat unit is not suitable for children under 6 months. Always use the restraint system.
- This product is not suitable for jogging or skating without the Jogger wheel. The included 14'' Jogger wheel enables skating & jogging. The jogger mode and skater mode are not included in the scope of stroller certification.
- Always make sure the parking brake is engaged when placing the child in or taking the child out. Any loads attached to the push handle and/or to the back of the backrest and/or to the sides impair the stability of the Qeridoo.
- Install and use only original accessories and spare parts manufactured or recommended by Qeridoo. The use of other products will void liability.
- Wear may occur at the connection point between the bike frame and the coupler. This is not grounds for a complaint. Do not use tools that have previously come into contact with conventional steel. Tiny steel particles could cause contact corrosion.
- For operation of the back light, observe the manufacturer's enclosed information.
- Before use, make sure the brake is working properly. Despite correct assembly, the disc brake may start to rub. Readjust the brake calipers or get help from your trusted bike workshop.
DANGER!
- Before each use, make sure all locks are engaged. Also wrap the safety strap of the tow bar around the tow bar so that it does not hang down in the ready position and cannot get caught on obstacles or drag.
- Only one child may be transported in the Kidgoo 1 Pro (one-seater) and a maximum of two children in the Kidgoo 2 Pro (two-seater). They must be secured with the 5-point safety harness and wear suitable clothing as well as a bike helmet. Balanced load distribution must be ensured.
- The Qeridoo must no longer be used after an accident! Even if no external damage is visible, the protective effect may be impaired.
- Before every ride, make sure the Qeridoo is in proper and technically perfect condition. Carry out a visual inspection and pay special attention to the section "Am I ready to go?". Also check whether the side fixation is closed and the webbing straps on the back of the seat are tightened.
- Always make sure the safety strap is attached before using the Qeridoo in trailer mode. Also make sure it cannot get into moving parts of the towing bike.
- Do not use a washer or similar item at the connection point between the bike frame and the coupler, as this may impair the stability of the connection.
- Always make sure the foot parking brake audibly clicks into place when it is engaged. If it does not engage fully, the wheels are not securely locked and the Qeridoo can roll away.
